If you dig on various archaeological excavations, it is precisely this HELLHOUND can be considered one of the oldest formations of metal from the USA. В составе этой банды замечены люди из AFFLICTION GATE, но музыка здесь совсем другого плана. Отбросив всю паутину мрака DEATH METAL,французы отправляются на тёплоё побережье, где правит дух свободы и THRASH METAL веселье. Кепки, шорты, майки, DEATH ANGEL, M.O.D., MEGADETH, ANTHRAX – вот в принципе из чего сделаны HUNGRY JOHNNY. Прекрасные 80-е годы, когда королями момента были летние общества вроде CLASH OF TYTANS, вот там примерно и остались со своей игрой HUNGRY JOHNNY.Весёлое время, со знакомыми наизусть гитарными ходами а-ля D.Mustaine/S.Ian.и как можно не принять такие действия?! Уважаемая музыка! Хороший вокалист, подходящий к их театру и иногда до боли знакомые выкрики хором на подхвате. Я провёл время не зря, слушая их дебют. Бальзам, да и только!

AVATAR Live in Austria

С родины кровавых упырей пришёл нехарактерный для загадочных местностей МELODIC DEATH THRASH METAL промач-концертник, записанный бандой по пребывании в соседке Австрии (Зальцбург) на фесте Spring Metal. К сожалению сплошные провалы в записи не дали полной картины объективности. Румын не назовешь жёсткими  звуковыми DEATH металлерами, как бы не старался их вокалист разрушая гроулом на румынском маленький  пивметалклуб. Гитаристы выдают мелодичные партии с элементами прогрессивных интонаций и приёмов, которыми пользовались CARCASS на “Swansong”. Также здесь можно встретить и этнические вышивки, такой фолковостью банда захотела наверно подчеркнуть своё румынское происхождение. AVATAR отдаёт духом древности Heavy – стандартов и никак не блещет пребыванием на свежести ритмов.. Лишнее это дело – слать для знакомства живьё, камерности присутствия не прибавит, а кому любопытно самому убедиться, что AVATAR стоят на сцене рискните попробовать заказать у AXA VALAHA distro заботливо следящих за ними.
